Animals causing destruction in Madison Heights, Michigan

Resident’s lawns are taking a brutal beating from the local wildlife in Madison Heights, Michigan.

Backyard has no trees or shrubs, only grass. Noticed tracks of dead grass at the end of winter. Grass has grown back over these areas. In the past month, noticed one small hole in the grass. Now there are three holes and a 2.5 foot trail of dying grass. We have not tried to deal with the voles ourselves. So far the problem is mild, but can easily get out of hand if not taken care of.      -Elaina W

There are two skunks in my yard - I think they are young. So far there hasn’t been spraying.  They have been fighting with a raccoon under my bird feeder. I’m concerned that soon they will develop scent/spray capacity and will spray. They congregate directly under my open window at night and I do NOT want to smell that.            -Linda M

I am not sure the specific animal that has invaded our flower beds. It has created tunnels and dug a few holes under our concrete stairs on our porch. The animal hole was covered a few times, but it just makes another mess in a different section of the bed. Also, rocks, concrete and insulation have been found near the holes. I have yet to see the animal come out so I am unsure of the exact species but it appears to be on the smaller size, but very destructive.  Maybe voles or gophers?                      -Kimber T

We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in Madison Heights and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping. We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem.

Many of the projects we solve involve raccoon families in attics and chimneys, mud swallow nests on stucco, woodpeckers drilling siding, voles and gophers destroying lawns, rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics, bat infestations, skunks stealing pet food and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.

Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake; skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system? We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife removal operators and I are prepared to solve.

Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals, we do a lot of other dirty work, too. Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal, pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings, decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing, odor control for skunk spray, and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.

I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years. My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

Wildlife removal needed in Madison Heights, Michigan

The residents of Madison Heights, Michigan are having their fair share of wildlife problems and are calling for help.

We have always had mice in the house as we are surrounded by fields. I have seen something much larger than a mouse twice now and also heard chewing noises in the walls. I have found a larger hole under my kitchen sink that wasn’t there a month ago. The shed behind my house is being cleaned out so I don’t know if that is causing the issue, but I have lived here for over ten years and never had a mouse in my house. Hoping for some help.    -Leona B

It has been about two years since I discovered my bat problem. I know there is a bat in my basement- I have seen it on two occasions. I know there are bats in the wall or attic. I can see the droppings (both in the basement and outside). I have had friends try to help with this but quite frankly this is out of our league. I need help. I don\'t know how many and I have never been in my attic. I am too skittish to try anything myself. I definitely need the house area sealed and the bats removed. It is just creepy. -Deborah V

I have had Voles really bad for the past 3 years. They have killed 3 of my bushes and chewed at my trees. I have tried every home remedy that was possible. My yard is not large but they have invaded front and back and destroyed the grass. I need help!!        -Richard H
